People often say that they want a hand up rather than a handout. But where is that helping hand supposed to come from? It can feel like the financial system is just a series of schemes designed to take advantage of those with poor credit. Indeed, this is often true, as people with poor credit are especially vulnerable to high interest rates and outrageous fees in banking. Sometimes, it feels impossible to get ahead.
That can all change today. With DND’s new SCORE Card, we have created a visionary method of improving your financial outlook, no matter your current credit rating.
The Score Card does not charge interest! We charge up-front fees based on your credit limit, determined by you. All the interest charged by other credit card companies of 15-22-35% stays in your pocket where it belongs. Our card provides an interest-free way to rebuild your credit. As long as you pay your monthly bill on time, you’ll never have an interest fee. What do you prefer, a one-time fee on your credit limit, or a monthly recurring interest charge on your purchases?
Our plan includes a simple, affordable monthly subscription fee. Consumers pay 25 gbp monthly and corporate clients pay 50 gbp per month. To sweeten the offer, we give a discount for a lump sum annual payment.
We have a beef with predatory lenders, their hidden fees and high interest charges. The Score Card has none of those. Some lenders bill themselves as helping people with poor credit, then charge them 35% APR monthly on the balance. Others charge this same high APR, applied to the highest balance of the month, when you miss paying off the entire balance in full. Both are predatory practices.
Score offers a different way. We don’t charge interest, period. If you don’t pay off your entire balance in full one month, we charge a 5% flat fee against the outstanding balance for up to 90 days. We won’t suspend your card, either. No complex math here. No ensuring that you’ve calculated everything to the penny. We believe in working with you, not against you.
The Score Card doesn’t require a contract like some providers. Once you’re a member with a subscription, you can choose to opt out. If for any reason you decide that Score isn’t for you, we’ll allow you to spend out your deposit and cancel your card without any penalty, hidden interest fees, or unexpected cancellation costs. Your money is your money, and we’ll help you keep it intact.
The Score Card allows you to use a deposit to set your own credit limit, meaning the funds we hold on deposit are yours. If, for whatever reason, you wish to end your relationship with the Score community, there’s no risk of losing those funds held safely at the Bank of England. We’ll ensure your funds make their way back to you.
